I initiated my home refinance six months ago through Bank of America's Making Home Affordable Program. Bank of America keeps telling me I have submitted everything they need to process the loan, but they JUST AREN'T PROCESSING IT.
Every month, I contact Bank of America to see what the problem is, and why they have not started processing the loan. A few times, they have asked me for documentation that I provided months beforehand. At the end of every correspondence, I ask them to confirm that they have everything they need, and they always do. Still, they aren't closing the loan. Instead, they are dragging it out at my current rate, making more money than if they closed the refinance.
Is anyone else having this problem? Has anyone made it past this problem? What did you do? What do you plan to do? What can WE do? Thank you for your help!
